After graduating from Texas A&M University in 1999, I moved back home to Hutto, TX where my family has been established for 6 generations.
I earned my Real Estate License and started in traditional sales and leasing. I was later recruited into apartment locating and mentored by a 25-year experienced top producer in apartment locating.
I invested 5 years in 3 different apartment locating brokers before earning my Texas Brokers License in 2003 and going out on my own. I took with me the best of those businesses & visions of how to improve on what they struggled with.
All along the way I’ve earned more than 50% of my business through referrals. I learned the value of providing outstanding service to clients and had a burning desire to deepen those key relationships.
In addition to finding apartments in Round Rock, I help my clients with all their move-in needs through Move In Discounts and Team 5 Percent.
In 1999, I received a referral about a young professional relocating from Canada. I helped her find a place to live, and within a year that beautiful young lady, Tashia, became my wife — proof I am at least a decent salesman.
We have been blessed with two of the most handsome, bright, funny, athletic, loving boys in the whole world: 7-year-old, red-headed Jaxson Wayne and his 5-year-old movie/rock star brother Landon Eddie is 5. I am a wealthy man even if my story stops right there.
I’m a 5-year member of the Round Rock Rotary Club where I currently serve as Vice President on the board of directors. The motto of millions of Rotarians all around the world is Service Above Self, which is the driving force behind all we do at Apartment Aces (see our community service page). Proud to serve the local YMCA as a board member for the Hutto branch. I’m also a member of the Round Rock and Hutto Chambers of Commerce.
I am a member of the 2012 Leadership Round Rock class which runs through May 31, 2012. What a great way to get to know the inner workings of the great city of Round Rock, I would encourage anyone looking to get more connected to their local community to seek out a similar class offered by your chamber of commerce.
I am blessed to be a mentor to a young man at CD Fulkes Middle School through STARRY and also encourage other men especially to take small amounts of time on a consistent basis…you will change a life!
As firm believers in Jesus Christ, my family faithfully attends Celebration Church, where I serve in a community outreach capacity as well as connection group leader. I was also the youth director/pastor of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church during my days in Aggieland.
I have mentored youth through Big Brothers and Round Rock school district’s STARS program where I was awarded “Mentor of the Year” from Double File Trail Elementary.
I love playing sports, and especially basketball. I voraciously devour personal development, leadership, and spiritual and mental growth books and audios. My favorite authors include Stephen Covey, Billy Graham, Napoleon Hill, Dale Carnegie, Rick Warren, John Eldredge, and Robert Kiyosaki.

Matt Sivley, Apartment Locating Specialist
I grew up in Abilene, Texas, where I played football as well as drums in the high school band.
After high school I studied at Hardin Simmons University in Abilene before moving to Austin to attend Austin Community College.
While attending college at ACC, I picked up a part-time job delivering flyers, taking pictures, and putting up for sale signs for a real estate company in Bee Cave, Texas. This is what sparked my interest in real estate, and I decided this was definitely something I would love to do!
I enjoy meeting new people and learning about their experiences and journeys in life, as well as helping them find a new place to call home.

I have called the greater Austin Area home for over 16 years and absolutely love it!
I obtained my Bachelors Degree from Southwest Texas State University in Interdisciplanry Studies specializing in Mathematics then went to work at several Austin area Independent School Districts including Round Rock as a Teachers Assistant, Austin in seventh/eighth grade math, Liberty Hill doing the same and finally Leander teaching third grade math & science.
